Site Visit Bayer 04 Leverkusen
In February 2024, we organized a site visit to Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso for the Mexican national coach Jaime Lozano and his staff from the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) and gained super interesting insights into the work and structures at Bayer 04. Winter training camp 2023 in Marbella
macospo Managing Director Marcus Haase and Head of Operations Oliver Haag were on an intensive business trip to Andalusia in mid-January 2023. In Marbella, the Mecca of soccer winter training camps on the Costa del Sol, the two had many meetings with representatives of clubs from the Bundesliga and other interesting leagues. In addition to Bundesliga clubs Borussia Dortmund, VfB Stuttgart, Mainz 05 and SC Freiburg, top Swiss clubs FC Basel, Young Boys Bern, FC Luzern and Czech third-placed Sparta Prague were also on site to prepare for the second half of the season. The Vancouver Whitecaps from Canada, a team from the MLS, also held their pre-season training at the Marbella Football Center.
Oliver and Marcus held many exploratory and contract talks, gathered impressions of the current training work, saw strengths, weaknesses and areas where action was needed in various test matches, cultivated existing contacts and made new ones.
Despite the intensive days, Marcus at least made time for daily training 😎
macospo team meeting at the Berlin Olympic Stadium
We used the time to put together our team before the current transfer period. Back in October, at the Bundesliga match between Hertha BSC and Schalke 04, the new, strengthened team came together in our seats in the hall of honor at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, watched the match (2:1 for Hertha BSC) and had lively discussions about soccer, future tasks, strategy and direction. We also met up with some old acquaintances.
Marcus Haase and Oliver Haag, who have been at the heart of macospo for some time now, are delighted to welcome Raffael and Amadou Ly to the team.
